Bothell

Bothell is a riverfront suburb in the Seattle metropolitan area. Located close to the northeast end of Lake Washington, Bothell is a dual-county city straddling both King and Snohomish county. Originally a logging community in the 1870s, it was transformed post-war into a bedroom community and has since developed into a booming economy, focusing on the biotechnology and biomedical industries. Today it is home to around 48,000 residents who have access to great schools and employment opportunities.

The district runs a total of 12 schools in the city, and there are also several private schools. There are two colleges in Bothell: Cascadia Community College and the University of Washington Bothell Campus, both of which are located near Interstate 405 and State Route 522.

  • Open spaces: Bothell has 400 acres of open spaces and parkland throughout its area which include trails, playgrounds, parks, and athletic fields. These spaces are open to everyone from dawn until dusk, giving its residents the leisure to exercise and enjoy the crisp fresh air.
